On Monday, March 24, former Canyon High School standout Taylor Thomas’ current collegiate team the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps lost 66-55 against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, this was the first game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas during the championship.

Taylor Thomas’ hometown is Canyon and game position is guard.
