Ronny Jackson, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 13th district, recently shared several updates through a series of tweets. A former physician and Navy rear admiral, Jackson is using the platform to communicate various initiatives and meetings that pertain to his work in Congress as well as his district.

On April 2, 2025, Jackson issued a reminder about the Congressional Art Competition. He emphasized that the deadline for entries is the following Friday, April 11th, and encouraged artists to participate and represent TX-13 under the theme "Texas Grit and Grace." Jackson offered assistance with questions regarding the drop-off process.

In a post from April 3, 2025, Jackson highlighted a meeting with Chairman De Jong of the Select Milk Producers and members of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. The meeting focused on the intersection of government and agriculture, a key concern for Jackson, as his district is the leading milk-producing area in Texas. He reiterated his commitment to advocating for agricultural interests.

On April 4, 2025, Jackson announced the introduction of the U.S.-South Africa Bilateral Relations Review Act. The legislation aims to hold South Africa accountable for its perceived alignment with China and Hamas. Jackson referenced actions taken by former President Trump and stressed that his initiative seeks to prevent assistance to governments that support dictatorships.
