On March 8, 2025, Jackson voiced his support for a government plan led by President Trump and House Republicans to prevent a government shutdown. He emphasized the importance of keeping the government operational to fulfill commitments made to American citizens. "I’m proud to support President Trump and House Republican’s plan to keep the government OPEN."

The following day, March 9, Jackson shared a religious passage from Psalm 91:1-2 on social media. He highlighted the spiritual message of trust and protection found in faith. “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, 'My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust'”

On March 10, Jackson addressed concerns about national security and export control processes amid growing threats from foreign adversaries. He announced reintroducing a bill aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability within these processes to safeguard America's future interests. "The growing threats from our foreign adversaries make it clear—we need total transparency and accountability in our export control process to PROTECT America’s FUTURE."
