Today, Congressman Ronny Jackson from Texas's 13th district has been appointed as the Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence’s Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. This subcommittee is tasked with overseeing the Intelligence Community, investigating related matters, and addressing any instances of waste, fraud, or abuse within its operations.

"I am honored to have been selected as the Chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and want to thank Chairman Rick Crawford for entrusting me with this tremendous opportunity," said Rep. Jackson. "The work we do will be key in holding the Intelligence Community accountable, safeguarding our national security, and cutting out waste, fraud, and abuse. I look forward to working with the Trump administration to ensure that our intelligence operations are not only efficient but aligned with our unwavering commitment to protect our national security and put America first."
