How many multiracial students were enrolled in Claude ISD schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 12 multiracial students enrolled in Claude ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 7.7% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Claude ISD schools welcomed 328 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3.7% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Claude ISD roughly covers schools within Armstrong County and has a main office in Claude.

Claude Schools was the only school in the district which enrolled multiracial students, welcoming 12 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
