Enrollment at Grandview-Hopkins ISD schools decreased by 4.3% compared to previous school year

There were 44 students enrolled in Grandview-Hopkins ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 4.3% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.3% of them were girls, and 47.7% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 75% of the Grandview-Hopkins ISD total enrollment.

Grandview-Hopkins ISD roughly covers schools within Gray County with its main office in Groom.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
