AMARILLO – On August 9, the Offices of Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) and Congressman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) announced an upcoming Farm Bill listening session in Canyon, Texas on Wednesday, August 16. Those interested in attending and offering comments (limited to 2 minutes) should click here to register ahead of time. Please note that registering in advance does not guarantee an opportunity to speak, however an attempt will be made to accommodate all speaking requests. 

WHO: Rep. Ronny Jackson (TX-13), Member of the House Committee on Agriculture, Rep. Jodey Arrington (TX-19), Chairman of the House Budget Committee, and Mike Conaway, former Chairman of the House Committee on Agriculture.

WHAT: A Farm Bill listening session bringing together farmers, ranchers, producers, agribusiness owners, and more to solicit public feedback for the 2023 Farm Bill reauthorization process.WHEN: Wednesday, August 16 from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM CDTWHERE: West Texas A&M University Piehl-Schaeffer Pavilion, 600 WTAMU Dr. Canyon, TX 79015
