Today, Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) expressed his approval after the Fiscal Year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was enacted. The legislation includes several provisions aimed at improving servicemembers' quality of life, modernizing military infrastructure, supporting allies, and strengthening national security.
Jackson commented: "Ensuring the U.S. military remains the most lethal fighting force in the world and that Texas’ Thirteenth Congressional District continues to play a vital role in national security are among my top priorities in Congress. I’m proud this year’s NDAA includes many provisions to modernize the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, strengthen the workforce at Bell in Amarillo, improve the quality of life for service members and their families at Sheppard Air Force Base, and bolster our defense-focused workforce. These provisions will benefit our dedicated servicemembers and hardworking Texans who are important to the security of our nation. Thank you, Chairman Rogers, for your steadfast leadership in the passage of this year’s NDAA, and I look forward to continuing to support America’s national defense priorities under President-elect Trump’s leadership soon!"
Jackson is a member of the House Armed Services Committee. He previously spoke on the House Floor advocating for the FY25 NDAA before it was voted on by the House.
