Congressman Ronny Jackson led a group of 83 colleagues in sending a letter to President Joe Biden demanding that he take a cognitive exam. The letter urges the Cabinet to initiate the process for invoking the 25th Amendment if President Biden refuses to undergo an assessment. Jackson expressed his concerns, stating, "It is becoming clearer each day that the President is not cognitively fit." This marks the fifth time such a letter has been sent to the White House, all of which have been ignored.

Jackson, a former physician to three U.S. Presidents, emphasized the importance of the President being in top mental and physical shape due to the demanding nature of the job. He highlighted the chaos at the southern border, record-high inflation, and various global conflicts impacting American interests as reasons for the call for a cognitive exam. Jackson criticized the administration for not addressing these pressing issues and urged for transparency regarding the President's fitness.

In a statement to Fox News, Jackson stated, "There is absolutely no comparison between Trump and Biden’s mental fitness. There is a simple solution to the Biden administration’s problem: administer a cognitive exam for the President." He stressed that if President Biden is unwilling or unable to sit for the exam, the Cabinet should consider invoking the 25th Amendment.

The letter was co-signed by several prominent figures, including Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik, Chief Deputy Whip Guy Reschenthaler, and numerous House colleagues. The signatories expressed their concerns about the mental and physical fitness of the Commander in Chief and called for transparency on this critical issue.
