On Sunday, April 13, former Amarillo High School standout Danae Lopez’s current college team, the Colorado Christian Cougars, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The game took place at All Star Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 12 p.m. at ASU Softball Field against Adams State Grizzlies.
