Enrollment Analysis: multiracial students comprised 3.7% of Boys Ranch ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were six multiracial students enrolled in Boys Ranch ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 14.3% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Boys Ranch ISD schools welcomed 164 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3.7% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Boys Ranch ISD roughly covers schools within Oldham County and has a main office in Boys Ranch.

Boys Ranch High School was the only school in the district which enrolled multiracial students, welcoming six students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
