Baylor

Baylor Health Care System issued the following announcement on Dec. 8

Following a national search, Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation announced today that Ben Renberg has been named as its new president. With 25 years of development experience, Renberg begins his new role Feb. 1, 2021.

Renberg comes from Cornell University where he has served as senior associate vice president of alumni affairs and development since 2016. At Cornell, he led day-to-day operations and focused on effectively integrating and heightening fundraising activities and planning the university's next comprehensive fundraising campaign.

"Ben has an excellent reputation as a strategist and fundraiser. He is a proven leader with an impressive track record," said Norm Bagwell, chairman of the Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation Board. "We look forward to working with him to build on the legacy of excellence and success for which the Foundation is known."

"We are thrilled to welcome Ben back to Texas," said Kristi Sherrill, interim president of Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation, and chief policy and community affairs officer of Baylor Scott & White Health. "His experience and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to advance our Mission and serve patients and communities across North Texas."

A native Texan, Renberg previously served as associate vice president at Rice University, and before that, he served as assistant dean of external relations for the university's Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business. Renberg also spent time as a partner with Dini Partners, a consulting firm specializing in nonprofits; as associate vice president for university development at Baylor University; and as director of development at Baylor College of Medicine.

"I am inspired by the work of Baylor Scott & White Health and excited to be a part of the North Texas community," Renberg said.

Renberg earned both his bachelor's and Master of Business Administration degrees from Baylor University. He and his family will be relocating to Texas in the new year.
