Amarillo Matters receives $1,000 from Gregg Bynum of Amarillo on February 27

Amarillo Matters received $1,000 from Gregg Bynum of Amarillo on February 27, according to data from the Texas Ethics Commission.

Donations can be made to political candidates in various amounts but must be reported to the Texas Ethics Commission. The legislature has also given the commission various other responsibilities, including the filing of financial disclosure statements for government officials and the filing of campaign finance regulatory statements by candidates and citizens who engage in political speech related to campaigns and elections.
