Senator Kevin Sparks, who represents Texas’s 31st Senate district, shared several personal and community-focused messages on his Twitter account in December 2025.
On December 18, 2025, Sparks posted a Bible verse: “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me. — Psalm 138:8”.
The following day, December 19, he continued with another scriptural message: “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. — Psalm 121:2”.
Later that same day, Sparks commented on his participation at a local political event: “It was a pleasure to join the Amarillo Republicans for their Christmas luncheon yesterday. Great to catch up with community members, celebrate the season, and discuss important topics together. Many thanks for putting on such a fun event! https://t.co/JakQ3onefA”.
Sparks was elected as a Republican to the Texas State Senate in 2023 and succeeded Kel Seliger as the representative of District 31.
