Senator Kevin Sparks, a Republican representing Texas’s 31st Senate district, has recently posted a series of Bible verses on his official social media account.
On December 2, 2025, Sparks shared a passage from Ecclesiastes: “He has made everything beautiful in its time. — Ecclesiastes 3:11”.
The following day, December 3, he posted another verse: “I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. — Psalm 34:4”.
On December 4, Sparks continued with a post quoting Psalms: “For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all He does. — Psalm 33:4”.
Sparks was elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 31st Senate district, succeeding Kel Seliger. As a member of the Republican Party, he has used his platform to share religious messages alongside legislative updates.
