Senator Kevin Sparks, who represents Texas’s 31st Senate district, has shared a series of Bible verses on his official social media account between November 29 and December 1, 2025.
On November 29, Sparks posted: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. — Psalm 19:1”.
The following day, November 30, he wrote: “In quietness and trust is your strength. — Isaiah 30:15”.
On December 1, Sparks continued with another verse: “The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land. — Isaiah 58:11”.
Sparks was elected to the Texas State Senate in 2023 as a Republican, succeeding Kel Seliger in representing District 31. The district covers a large area in West Texas.
