On Saturday, March 1, former Amarillo High School standout Braize Mitchell’s current college team, the Iona Gaels, lost 16-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the NJIT Highlanders.
The game took place at Yogi Berra Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Highlanders this season.
The Gaels’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m. at Yogi Berra Stadium against NJIT Highlanders.
