Ronny Jackson, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 13th district since 2021, recently shared a series of posts on his social media account addressing religious faith, military leadership, and the remembrance of American service members.

On August 24, 2025, Jackson posted a biblical quotation: “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” —John 8:31-32.

The following day, August 25, he highlighted a visit to a military intelligence facility in Hawaii. In his words: “I was honored to visit the USINDOPACOM Joint Intelligence Operations Center in Pearl Harbor, HI, to meet with Captain Jamie Fraser, Deputy Commanding Officer Ms. Deanna Wills, and Senior Master Sergeant Andrew LeBlanc. I am grateful for their leadership and the vital work they do”.

On August 26, Jackson commemorated American service members who died during the Afghanistan withdrawal. He wrote: “Today, we remember the 13 brave American heroes who gave their lives at Abbey Gate in the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. Their sacrifice will NEVER be forgotten. This tragedy was the result of COMPLETE FAILURE by the Biden administration. We owe it to these heroes and their”.

Jackson has served as representative for Texas’ 13th district after replacing Mac Thornberry in 2021. He secured his seat by defeating Gus Trujillo in the 2020 general election with nearly four-fifths of the vote and was re-elected in 2022 against Kathleen Brow with over three-quarters of votes cast.
