Ronny Jackson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 13th district, has been actively engaging with his audience through social media. Jackson replaced former U.S. Congress member Mac Thornberry in 2021 and has continued to serve since then.
On June 14, 2025, Jackson commemorated the United States Army’s 250th birthday. He expressed gratitude for their service by stating “Happy 250th birthday to the UNITED STATES ARMY! Thank you for defending the greatest country on Earth today and every day. Your unwavering commitment to defending our nation ensures we all get to enjoy the freedoms America was built on.”
The following day, June 15, 2025, Jackson shared a religious passage from Isaiah 61:10, reflecting on his faith. He quoted “I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”
On June 16, 2025, Jackson highlighted an educational initiative led by SLOTUS. He announced “The @SLOTUS Summer Reading Challenge has begun! All participants must do to enter is read 12 books, fill out the reading log, and submit for a prize! Kids K-8 are eligible to participate and those who complete the challenge will be entered into a raffle for a special trip.” This initiative aims at encouraging children from kindergarten through eighth grade to engage in reading over the summer.
Ronny Jackson was born in Levelland, Texas in 1967 and now resides in Amarillo. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1991.
