Ronny Jackson, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 13th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on social media in early September 2025 praising former President Donald Trump and House Republicans for their efforts supporting American workers and improving public safety.

On September 1, Jackson extended Labor Day greetings to American workers, stating: “Happy Labor Day to the hardworking men and women who built this country and keep it STRONG. President Trump and House Republicans will ALWAYS fight FOR the American workforce that keeps the GREATEST country on Earth running!”

Two days later, on September 3, he credited former President Trump with significant reductions in crime rates in Washington D.C., writing: “Since President Trump SAVED DC, robberies are down 62%, carjackings are down 87%, and VIOLENT CRIME is down 45%! Thank you @POTUS for rescuing our nation’s capital!”

Continuing his support for Trump’s policies, Jackson posted on September 4: “President Trump is DELIVERING for American workers. Jobs are booming, wages are rising, small businesses are thriving, and made in America is BACK. Welcome to America’s GOLDEN AGE!”

Jackson has held his seat in Congress since replacing Mac Thornberry in 2021. He previously won election victories against Kathleen Brow in 2022 by a margin of approximately 75% to 25%, and against Gus Trujillo in 2020 with nearly an 80% share of the vote.
