Ronny Jackson, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 13th district, posted a series of messages on his social media account in early January 2026 addressing topics ranging from energy exports to law enforcement appreciation and religious reflection.

On January 8, Jackson highlighted the country’s recent achievements in energy production, stating “American energy dominance is BACK! In 2025 the U.S. became the FIRST country to export MORE than 100 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas in a single year.”

The following day, he marked Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with a message of gratitude: “Happy Law Enforcement Appreciation Day to the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe. Thank you for your courage, commitment, and resilience in service to our communities!” (January 9).

On January 11, Jackson shared a biblical passage with his followers: “Prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.” —1 Peter 1:13

Jackson has served as the representative for Texas’ 13th congressional district since replacing Mac Thornberry in 2021. He secured his seat by defeating Gus Trujillo in the 2020 general election and Kathleen Brow in the subsequent race two years later.
