Ronny Jackson, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’s 13th district since 2021, posted a series of updates on his official Twitter account between May 15 and May 16, 2026. The tweets addressed national defense initiatives, ongoing wildfire response efforts in Texas, and Armed Forces Day.

On May 15, Jackson wrote: “Under President Trump’s leadership, House Republicans are working to strengthen our Navy, support our Marines, rebuild the industrial base, and ensure America remains the world’s GREATEST MARITIME POWER!”

Later that day, he addressed constituents affected by wildfires in the Texas Panhandle: “If your home, business, or property was damaged by the ongoing wildfires, please report it through the Texas iSTAT damage survey as soon as possible. Praying for every family impacted across the Panhandle.”

On May 16, marking Armed Forces Day, Jackson posted: “Happy Armed Forces Day! Thank you to the brave men and women of our Armed Forces for your service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our nation. As a Navy veteran and Member of @HASC, I’ll continue to fight in Congress to strengthen military readiness, support our troops”.

Jackson has served in Congress since replacing Mac Thornberry in 2021. He was born in Levelland, Texas in 1967 and currently resides in Amarillo. Before entering politics he graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991. In previous elections he won decisively against Democratic challengers Kathleen Brow (in 2022) and Gus Trujillo (in 2020).
