Ronny Jackson, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’s 13th district since 2021, has recently highlighted his legislative actions and meetings through a series of posts on social media.
On July 18, 2025, Jackson announced his support for reducing federal funding to public broadcasters. He wrote, “I was PROUD to vote in FAVOR of DEFUNDING NPR & PBS! I have led the charge to eliminate funds for these WOKE media organizations since first coming to Congress, and I’m thrilled that the DOGE rescissions package has passed the House and will now be sent to President Trump’s desk”.
In a separate post dated July 20, 2025, Jackson shared a biblical quotation: “‘His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!'” —Matthew 25:21.
Continuing his updates on July 21, 2025, Jackson referenced discussions with agricultural stakeholders. He stated, “I was honored to meet with the Texas Corn Producers to discuss how we can further support Texas farmers in the upcoming Farm Bill! The One Big Beautiful Bill secured MAJOR wins for our agriculture producers, but there is still more to be done to ensure our farmers can continue”.
Jackson succeeded Mac Thornberry as representative of Texas’s 13th district in 2021. Born in Levelland, Texas in 1967 and currently residing in Amarillo, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University earned in 1991.
