On Thursday, May 8, former Bushland High School standout Abby Howell’s current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park. This was their sixth matchup against the Lady Chaparrals this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 12 p.m. at Schaeffer Park against Angelo State Rams.
