Ronny Jackson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 13th district, recently shared his views on several key issues through a series of tweets. Jackson, who has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Mac Thornberry, is known for his strong stance on immigration and economic policies.
On June 5, 2025, Jackson expressed concerns about sanctuary cities in a tweet. He stated that “Sanctuary cities have devastated communities, misused our government resources, and prioritized dangerous, unvetted illegal aliens over the safety of the American people.” He also mentioned that the House had passed a bill to codify actions initiated by former President Trump concerning the Small Business Administration.
Later that day, Jackson highlighted legislative efforts to reform small business loan programs. In another tweet posted on June 5, he announced that “The House just passed a bill to restore integrity and accountability to the Small Business Administration’s loan programs by rolling back Biden’s RECKLESS rules and regulations.” He emphasized his support for this policy as it aims to boost economic growth.
On June 6, Jackson commemorated an important historical event with a tweet marking D-Day’s anniversary. He reflected on its significance by stating “Today marks the 81st anniversary of D-Day, when American heroes joined our allies on the shores of Normandy in one of the most courageous military operations in history.” This operation played a crucial role in World War II and contributed significantly to securing liberty for future generations.
Ronny Jackson was born in Levelland, Texas in 1967 and currently resides in Amarillo. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1991.
