On Friday, Feb. 14, former Canyon High School standout Evan Janner’s current college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Illinois Salukis.
The game took place at UTRGV Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Salukis this season.
The Vaqueros’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium against Southern Illinois Salukis.
