On Sunday, March 16, former Canyon High School standout Evan Janner’s current college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros, won 14-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Nicholls State Colonels.
The game took place at UTRGV Baseball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Colonels this season.
The Vaqueros’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium against Texas Southern Tigers.
