On Saturday, April 12, former Amarillo High School standout Braize Mitchell’s current college team, the Iona Gaels, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Fairfield Stags.

The game took place at City Park Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Stags this season.

The Gaels’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at City Park Stadium against Fairfield Stags.
