On Saturday, April 19, former Amarillo High School standout Cayden Phillips’ current college team, the Kansas State Wildcats, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kansas Jayhawks.

The game took place at Hoglund Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Jayhawks this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 6 p.m. at Tointon Family Stadium against Wichita State Shockers.
